Steam Train Day + Turntable day

Steam Train Day + Turntable day

Date: 23/08/2026

Time: 10:30 to 16:00

Due to the current severe Fire Risk the Steam Train Day on the 23rd August will now use a Diesel Engine. The WW2 event advertised in the leaflet is also, unfortunately, cancelled.  We have made this decision as a responsible Heritage Railway and regret any disappointment this may cause to our customers.

Diesel hauled trains will still be running and we are looking at using this as an opportunity to use our new “Parliamentary” Open Passenger Wagon. Details to follow.
