Join us at “Hogsweed's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and ride on the ”Hogsweed Express"Steam Train

Why not come dressed as your favourite Witch or Wizard, prizes for the best costumes, and see if you can find all the clues on the Wizarding trail?.

One of our very own steam engines, ‘Pectin’ a Peckett 0-4-0, will be hauling the ‘Hogsweed Express’ along the 1/3rd mile of the ex-Great Western Railway Clifton Maybank branch. Passengers travel in our coach which is accessible via ramp for standard size Wheelchair and other users will be in use. 

Other planned attractions include a Shop, Light Refreshments, Model Railway and exhibits and displays (including the Chard Signalling Panel).
Pre-booking will not be necessary for this event and please pay at the gate.

Diesel Train Day

Diesel Train Day using one of our Diesels to give train rides along the 1/3rd mile of the ex-Great Western Railway Clifton Maybank branch. Other attractions include the Miniature Railway, Model Railway, Cafe (and display of artefacts) and a Shop.
