Santa and his elves have been joining us for Christmas at Yeovil Railway Centre since 1995. Santa has written to us confirming he will be with us again in 2026! Your visit starts with a magical train ride behind one of our heritage steam locomotives in a festively decorated carriage. The elves will have been up early helping the train crew, preparing, cleaning and decorating the engine. If you're lucky some of the elves might even join you on the train!
You start your visit with a train ride behind one of our steam locomotives and travel in a decorated heritage carriage. Our track is about 1/3rd mile long, so the train ride is full of fun for the children but not long enough for them to get bored.
Visitors then make their way to the ex GWR Transfer Shed, where Santa will be ready to receive his visitors. All children will receive a free present from Santa.
Come and see the multi award winning Christmas display's put together by our volunteers. You also have the opportunity to dance and play in the snow falling from above.
After you have concluded the visit to Santa you may wish to visit the Shop (located on the platform) where there is a large selection of books, DVDs, Model Railway items (second hand) and much more.
The Adult ticket includes a free mince pie and a hot drink.
We run 11 trains per day. 10.15,10.40,11.05,11.30,11.55,12.20,13.40,14.05,14.30,14.55 and 15.20. To book the the 15.20 train you will need to select show more.
£16 per Adult and Child. Babies under 12 Months can also book a free ticket

You can still turn up on the day although booking is recommended as availability on the day can't be guaranteed. 'On the Day' tickets are £20 per person (aged 1 or over) if space is available
